1. FLYING TO Nosara
Direct flights to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) are available from most major hubs, including Miami, New York, and Toronto. Yes, it’s called Liberia; no, it is not the West Africa one.
We recommend booking ASAP as it’s pre-thanksgiving weekend.
Alternatively, if you are coming from LA or the West coast, there are more direct options to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).
2. Shuttle to nosara
Nosara sits about 115 kilometres southwest of Liberia (LIR), a two-and-a-half-hour drive through the rolling Guanacaste countryside.
From LIR — 2.5 hr drive.
Prefer to fly? Costa Rica Green Airways flies to NOS 3 times a day (9:30am, 11:30am, and 4:00pm), about 30 minutes. Sansa flies to NOS twice (12:25pm and 3:45pm).
From SJO — 4.5-4 hr drive.
Prefer to fly? SANSA: typically 7:40am and 4:00pm Costa Rica Green Airways: 7:45am, 9:45am and 2:15pm
Let us know if you’re interested in a shuttle, and we may be able to pair you with others. Shuttles are private sprinters for ~$160 for up to 9 people. Flights are ~$100.

Getting around nosara
MAIN EVENT
On Saturday, November 21, we’ll be running a shuttle from Casa Levine and the Beach HQ to El Catedral.
🚌 Shuttle Departure: 4:30 PM
The shuttle will also run return services at the end of the evening. If you want flexibility, get a Tikki rickshaw number.
Not on the shuttle? La Catedral is approximately 25 minutes by car from the town centre.
